Safe & Sound Home Protection Services offers regular home monitoring services as well as any additional services that are tailored to your needs.

Safe & Sound provides weekly or bi-weekly visits to your home. During each visit we conduct a thorough inspection, inside and outside of your home, looking for obvious issues. You will be emailed your custom inspection report, complete with photos (if needed) and comments , at the conclusion of each visit. During each visit, our Safe & Sound Professionals will check the following:

Exterior -
Check on the general condition of the home exterior.
Check for signs of intrusion, vandalism or storm damage.
Check on condition of patio/deck and screens.
Check on condition of landscape plantings and irrigation.
Check outdoor faucets for leakage.
Empty mailbox. Sort mail and leave at designated spot in home.
Remove newspapers, flyers, packages, debris from front walkway and entrance.
Ensure driveway and walkways are cleared of snow (if applicable).

Interior -
Check on the general condition of the home interior.
Ensure all doors are locked and windows are secured.
Check that alarm system is functioning properly.
Check on temperature and humidity readings, proper operation of the thermostat and humidistat settings (if applicable).
Check refrigerators and freezers are functioning properly and food has not spoiled.
Operate the garbage disposal and dishwasher (if requested).
Operate all faucets and flush toilets.
Visual check for leaks and stains around windows, ceilings, water heaters, under sinks and around toilets.
Investigate any noises, alarms, beeps or odors.
Turn on Lights and fans throughout the home.
Check for interior pest infestations.

Garage -
Check breaker panel and water heater.
Check car trickle charger or battery tender
Check car tire inflation.
Check golf cart tires and battery water level.

Our additional services include -
Take out / return trash and recycling cans.
Prep home prior to your visit.
Provide access for a contractor appointment
Remain at home during contractor appointments.
Dry cleaning pick-up / return services.
Transport vehicles to/from summer destination.
